We Dare to Think: United Nations Technical Assistance Program in Turkey

After an introduction concerning the importance of technical assistance, this recording provides an overview of the United Nations' Technical Assistance Program in Turkey and features statements from five professionals involved in the project. The professionals, who were sent to Turkey through the United Nations Technical Assistance Program at the request of the Turkish Government, are introduced and explain their work in the fields of mining, statistics, papermaking, and healthcare. Speakers: Mr. Griffiths, a mining expert from Wales; Mr. Yernhargan, a statistician from Sweden; Desanti Leur, an expert in papermaking from France; nurse Mercius from Belguim, and nurse Robottom from Scotland.
