UNESCO presents, in collaboration with the Norwegian State Radio, The People Sing and Dance. This recording is the fourth in a series of five programmes on the recent Third Festival of the International Folk Music Council, held in Oslo in 1955. The series was produced in the UNESCO studios in Paris, with production and narration by Herbert Steinhouse. Music from the nations formally know as Czechoslovakia, Yugoslavia, and the USSR is featured in this recording.
