This recording announces the publication of a handbook by UNESCO entitled Trade Barriers to Knowledge. The handbook provides a list for almost every country of their tariff and trade regulations affecting educational materials. The two main objectives of this publication were to demonstrate how tariff and trade restrictions limited the flow of knowledge throughout the world, and to increase support for UNESCO?s campaign to eliminate these trade barriers.
