Strengthening the Monitoring and Reporting on SDG 16.10.2 in Rwanda
This video showcases testimonies of participants before and after the training workshop for information and communication officers on the Monitoring and Reporting on SDG 16.10.2 (Public Access to Information) in Rwanda. The two-day training was organised by the Legal Aid Forum in partnership with UNESCO, and was participated by various ministries, the private sector, and civil society organizations. It aimed at detailing SDG 16.10.2 in Rwanda; enhancing the technical capacity of communication officers to produce access to information-related statistics to be used for the VNR report; and sharing experiences and relevant strategies. The occasion was also used to discuss principles and quality requirements in collecting access to information related information; highlight challenges in monitoring and reporting and strategies to address them; and learn how to use the data collected on SDG 16.10.2 for advocacy.
