Cultural Broadcasting - Speaking Our Thoughts
Language: English
John Morris, the director of the BBC’s Third Programme national radio station, discusses his perspective after attending a conference on cultural broadcasting. The conference, held at UNESCO House, hosted senior producers from twelve-member states. Morris discusses some of the difficulties with cultural broadcasting, the value of information spread orally, and the difficulty scientists face when trying to communicate their ideas to individuals not versed in scientific language.
