International Museum Campaign
Language: English
While some perceive museums as stuffy buildings with dusty objects, their functions have changed to become centres of education for visitors of all ages. As museums become more interactive, it is important that the public is aware of all the benefits they have to offer. UNESCO invited all member states to participate in an International Museum Campaign by organizing programmes to encourage community members to visit museums and learn. This recording is narrated by Hiroshi Daifuku, of UNESCO’s Cultural Heritage division.
