William Thomas O’Dea, of the London Science Museum, discusses his recent three-month trip to India, where he had been on behalf of UNESCO. He explains that his role there was to advice the government of India on the establishment of science museums. O’Dea outlines the importance of science museums, their educational potential, and the progress that was made towards the establishment of a science museum at the National Physical Laboratory of Delhi.
