Ben Dotsei Malor, chief of Communications and Public Information with the UN Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS), Juba, is interviewed by John Masuku the UNESCO 2023 World Radio Day coordinator about why the radio station was adopted for peacekeeping purposes. Ben explains how Radio Miraya contribution has impacted the peace processes and conflict resolution through various programs which are produced by local broadcasters with the direction of United Nations expert staff through editorial policies that promote balance, fairness, accuracy and the principle of independent radio.
