Amin’s Adventure with Living Heritage

In this animated film, Amin, an Egyptian boy, encounters Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH) expressions and practices that are living in the community, while running an errand for his father. They are in different domains of ICH such as oral traditions, performing arts, social rituals, knowledge of nature and environment and traditional craftsmanship as stated in the UNESCO Convention for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage. The film was produced with the support of the UNESCO Regional Bureau for Sciences in the Arab States to get children familiar with the concept of ICH and increase their understanding of the importance of its safeguarding and transmission to future generations.
