This recording is the first of two reports made by Leonard Cottrell on the work undertaken by the United Nations and UNESCO in Chachoengsao, Thailand. Cottrell also discusses his own experiences travelling in Bangkok, Thailand. Cottrell's report contains several of his own audio recordings, including recordings of the sounds and music of Bangkok, Buddhist prayers at the temple Wat Suthat, interviews with a taxi driver, and school children in class in Chachoengsao.
