This recording is of a round table discussion at the Intergovernmental Meeting on Seismology and Earthquake Engineering, held at UNESCO House in Paris. The Meeting was prompted by a series of destructive earthquakes in the early 1960s, in Agadir, Morocco; Valdivia, Chile; Buin Zahra, Iran; and Skopje, North Macedonia (formerly Yugoslavia).
