The Global Network of Young TV producers on HIV and AIDS is a project undertaken by UNESCO. The Asia-Pacific Institute for Broadcasting Development (AIBD) has been partnering in this project to build up the network in the Asia-Pacific region. Two batches of producers have already been trained earlier in the region under the project.

This time UNDP also joined hands in the endeavour. HIV and AIDS: A Battle that must be Won presents the products from the third batch of producers trained under the project.

Young TV producers from Iran, Tajikistan, Afghanistan and Pakistan were trained to produce mini-documentaries which are socially and ethically just while being scientifically correct. After the three-week workshop in Islamabad, the producers went back to their countries, and they produced one mini-documentary each.
