Language: English subtitles Ara

Celebration of World Water Day 2011 in Jordan on March 22, at Nayfeh School, a small public school of Amman in Al Hashimi Al Shmali. The school is a member of the ASPnet Programme of UNESCO. The celebration was supported by UNESCO Office in Amman, the Jordan National Commission for UNESCO, the United Nations Volunteers (UNV) and the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN).

330 children participated in the celebrations, which consisted of a series of activities already tested and introduced in Latin America and the Caribbean to improve water education. The implementation of these activities was a great success.
These activities are key to developing awareness, critical thinking, instilling environmental ethics and encouraging children to take action towards water related issues
