Language: Plurilingual: Eng
Analogue only: Français, Español, Portugués, 中文,

It clip highlights how an ancient Egyptian building method - the Nubian vault -, which requires only earth and water, was rediscovered by a Frenchman who transmitted this technique to Burkinabese masons. Today, the masons train apprentices, and the project has resulted in hundreds of dwellings that have been built by a qualified, local labour force.
