Relatively little information is available in developing countries about deafness and many deaf people consequently suffer throughout their lives, at home, in school and in the community because of the absence of information about sign languages.

This video is intended to raise awareness among parents, teachers, doctors, nurses and social workers of the importance of sign languages for deaf children, particularly in the early years of their lives.
