The UNESCO Asia Pacific World Heritage Youth Forum was organized by the New Zealand National Commission for UNESCO between 18 - 23 June, 2007 in conjunction with New Zealand hosting the 31st Session of the UNESCO World Heritage Committee in Christchurch, New Zealand.
The thirty youth delegates from twelve countries spent six days together in Christchurch and five sites around Canterbury immediately prior to the World Heritage Committe Meeting. The youth delegates presented The World Heritage Youth Challenge to the delegates of the 31st Session of the UNESCO World Heritage Committee during the opening ceremony held on Saturday 23 June, 2007.
