The Almaty Youth Space is a one-day outdoor event for young people. It comprises the presentation of the existing creative youth spaces and programmes in Almaty, masterclasses, and a final concert featuring the winners of the youth creativity contest on role in sustainable development.
This is a project developed in consultation with young representatives of Almaty education institutions, dedicated to the International Youth Day and the International Day of Peace.

In 2017, Almaty was included into the network of the creative cities of UNESCO (UCCN). This network is on a first line of UNESCO’s efforts designed to promote development of innovations and creativity as key factors of sustainable and inclusive development of the cities.
