The Fate of the Dinosaurs

(Audio recording)

Language: English

The Fate of Dinosaurs is a UNESCO presentation on world achievements in reclaiming desert land to help increase global food supplies. This presentation stresses that a fear of human extinction, like that of the dinosaurs, hangs in the balance since the growth of deserts caused a shortage of food supplies. This programme is a call to action to stop damaging the world and to focus on restoring nature. The work of Hydrology, the research by the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization, and the necessity for co-operative work of experts in many sciences are highlighted. This presentation was done by the radio division of UNESCO in Paris
