Memo from U.N, N.19 - Tomorrow's Menu
This memo from the United Nations (Paris, Series No. 19) concerns farming and food production, with particular focus on the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO). The Deputy Director-General of the FAO, Sir Herbert Broadley, gives a general overview of its functions. These functions are illustrated through seven stories about problems that the FAO has helped solved. These are set in Afghanistan, Sri Lanka (formally Ceylon), Ethiopia, East Africa, Saudi Arabia, and Europe.
