Heritage So Young - How Can All Beiings Flourish
Youth telling the stories of Sichuan Giant Panda Sanctuaries World Heritage site.
Sichuan Giant Panda Sanctuaries constitute the largest remaining contiguous habitat of the giant panda, and are home to other globally endangered animals such as the red panda, the snow leopard and clouded leopard. They are also among the botanically richest sites of any region in the world outside the tropical rainforests. In July 2006, the Sichuan Giant Panda Sanctuaries are inscribed to the UNESCO World Heritage List.
The “Heritage So Young” initiative aims to engage young people in heritage communication and transmission. It is hoped that through this field excursion, more young people could be encouraged to join the efforts of conserving and sharing heritage values, and to contribute to green development and the harmonious coexistence of human and nature. # Heritage So Young
