Jack Bornoff provides a report on the four-day Session of the International Rostrum of Composers, held at UNESCO House. Session participants were musicians representing the music departments of sixteen national broadcasting stations, including Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, France, Hungary, Israel, Italy, Japan, the Netherlands, Poland, Sweden, Switzerland, the UK, the USA, and Yugoslavia. The session aimed at identifying musical pieces worthy of international promotion.
