The Yampara culture shows with pride its beautiful polychrome dresses, which are handmade following an ancestral tradition that has survived throughout the centuries. The weaves crystallize the Yampura cultural identity as these dresses tell the story of their people, though shapes, colours, symbols and design.

Second documentary on this DVD. It shows how, after five centuries of colonization, the indigenous peoples of the Bolivian highlands are still maintaining their ancestral structures and modes of governance.
