Qian Tang: candidate for the post of Director-General of UNESCO
Qian TANG (8 December 1950, Beijing, China), has served as Assistant-Director General for Education of UNESCO since April 2010. He previously served as Deputy Assistant Director-General for Education (2005–2009) and Director of the Executive Office in the Education Sector (2001–2009). He joined UNESCO in 1993.
