For the promotion of art education in Europe and Africa, the Austrian and Senegal commissions for UNESCO carried out the project International Arts Education Workshop Linz09 - Dak'Art10. 24 art teachers and pupils from Senegal, Mali, Burkina Faso, Gambia, Slovenia, Hungary, France, Germany and Austria met in Vienna and Linz, in 2009, as well as in Dakar and St Louis, Senegal, in 2010, to exchange on contemporary African and European art.
