SDG 11 for Children – Sustainable Cities and Communities
This video relates to target 11.6: “By 2030, reduce the adverse per capita environmental impact of cities, including by paying special attention to air quality and municipal and other waste management.”
In order to raise awareness among children from 7 to 11 years old and their school community about the importance of Education for Sustainable Development (ESD), UNESCO Brazil, in partnership with the Brazilian Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Environment, selected nine Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and some of its targets related to ESD.
