Fight for a City
Brussels, an urbanization problem. Its inhabitants fight for their city. Twenty years ago the dimensions of the city were still on a human scale. This changed when the city prepared for the International Exhibition of 1958 and its transformation into a modern city begun. To save what was left and to combat dehumanization trends, neighbourhood committees were formed.
The film reports the struggle of the community against the authorities and against powerful groups which tend to make the city alive, a centre of offices and administration.
