What Unites Us - Geneva-Peace-Africa
A video that focuses on the very basic question of what unites us despite all the differences in beliefs, traditions, and identities. Politics often tend to emphasize and instrumentalize ethnic and religious differences for particularistic interests. Sometimes these differences are also securitized and become a cause of conflicts and wars. Identifying common building blocks for peace requires sustained effort and our attention on what we all share based on the common core experience of being human. The video proposes a reflection on the building a Culture of Peace in Africa from Geneva.
