International assistance
The Convention foresees the possibility for States Parties to submit requests for international assistance for programmes and projects for the safeguarding of the intangible cultural heritage (see ICH-04 form and instructions from the form page).
Fund for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage
In order to finance programmes, projects and other activities, a Fund for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage is established. When attributing funds, special attention is to be given to the safeguarding of the heritage inscribed on the List of Intangible Cultural Heritage in Need of Urgent Safeguarding and for the preparation of inventories.
