Biography

Eduardo is a consultant, researcher, and professor with more than 16 years of expertise in cultural economics and cultural public policies. He has worked for governmental and non-governmental national and international institutions, including the Interamerican Development Bank, IDB, the Ministry of Culture of Colombia, the Secretary of Culture of Bogotá, CERLALC, and Sound Diplomacy. Eduardo is an expert in the development and evaluation of cultural public policies, as well as in crafting cultural and social indicators. He led the coordination of Colombia's Cultural Satellite Account and provided guidance for the Colombia and Peru quadrennial periodic reports under the UNESCO 2005 Convention. Additionally, he advised the pilot implementation of the 2030 UNESCO indicators in Colombia. Currently, Eduardo is the Chief Economist Consultant at Sound Diplomacy, where he is at the forefront of developing and applying methodologies to gauge the economic and social impact of the creative sector in urban and regional settings globally.
