Ms. Josephine Lutta Kiyenje is the Senior Project Lead for the Spotlight series at the GEM Report. She has previously held positions with key international organizations, notably the Global Partnership for Education, UNICEF, the African Development Bank, and the World Bank Group. For over 15 years, she has contributed to education sector strategies and translated technical knowledge into programs to respond to pertinent issues including improving access to early childhood education, addressing gender in education, supporting inclusive education, improving teaching and learning, and addressing skills development in more than 25 countries across Africa, the Caribbean, Central Asia and the Middle East and North Africa regions.
