A Conceptual Framework Regarding the Multicultural Education Competencies of Teachers / Öğretmenlerin Çokkültürlü Eğitim Yeterliklerine İlişkin Kavramsal Bir Çerçeve

This article looks at the role of multicultural education 'to contribute to the establishment, application and maintenance of social justice and equality and thus ensure a social transformation'. The article argues that this needs a change in the education curriculum, and teacher training. The article outlines the cultural competencies that teachers need.
