Fifth ordinary session of the Conference of Parties

During its fifth ordinary session, the Conference of Parties examined several items on its Agenda, including the reports on the implementation and impact of Articles 16 and 21 of the Convention, and the International Fund for Cultural Diversity (IFCD) and the fundraising strategy. It reviewed the analytical summary of quadrennial periodic reports of Parties to the Convention, and approved the draft revised Operational Guidelines on Article 9 of the Convention. It also debated on digital issues and visibility of the Convention, and set out future activities of the Intergovernmental Committee. Finally, the Conference of Parties elected 12 new Members of the Intergovernmental Committee.
