The Management of Social Transformations (MOST) Programme is an intergovernmental science programme that builds the knowledge-policy nexus for positive social change. MOST strengthens the link between what we know and how we act on it. The substantive aim is to promote a reset along a more inclusive path by tackling inequalities in its social, economic, environmental, and technological dimensions.
In April 2023, the 16th Ordinary Session of the Intergovernmental Council (IGC) of MOST will be hosted at UNESCO Headquarters in Paris, France. The IGC convenes biennially to take stock of key achievements and articulates future courses of action, including research priority areas and programme strategy.
Alongside the IGC, the MOST Forum will bring together leading thinkers and policy-makers for intellectual debates on the most significant challenges and solutions for social development.
