Call for nominations: UNESCO Sultan Qaboos prize for Environmental Conservation

Member States and Non-Governmental Organizations maintaining official partnerships with UNESCO are invited to submit nominations for the 2023 edition of the UNESCO Sultan Qaboos prize for Environmental Conservation. Nominations of female candidates are strongly encouraged to ensure they are better represented in the selection of laureates.
The call for nominations is open until 15 July 2023.

This prize recognizes outstanding contributions by individuals, groups of individuals, institutes or organizations in the field of the environment. It consists of a diploma and a financial reward of US$100,000 and it will be awarded during the World Science Forum in 2024.

Nominations should be submitted in English or French using the official nomination form on the Prize's webpage.
