Election of the Bureau of the Intergovernmental Committee for Physical Education and Sport (CIGEPS) for 2024-2025

In accordance with Article 6.3 of the Statutes of CIGEPS and following Resolution CIGEPS/2022/E/2 adopted on 24 May 2022, the elections of the CIGEPS Bureau for the biennium 2024-2025 will be held during the 42nd session of the General Conference.

Members must elect a Chairperson and five Vice-Chairpersons, taking due account of equitable geographical distribution. The elected country representatives shall act as coordinators for their respective regional groups.

Each Member of the Committee, whose membership is provided for in Article 3, paragraph 1, shall have one vote (Article 7.1 of the Statutes).

Regarding the membership, a total of six Member States have completed their four-year term of office: Austria, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Cuba, India, and Madagascar.
