Fourth webinar on collective healing, social justice and global well-being

Ana Lucía Araujo, Professor at Howard University (USA) and historian specialized in the visual and material culture of enslavement, will be in conversation with Lewis Cardinal, Indigenous communicator and educator.
Following their keynote presentations, Prof. Araujo and Mr Cardinal will discuss the optimism and complexity brought forward by the most recent call for global reparation to address the legacies of historical mass atrocities inflicted upon peoples of African and Indigenous descent.
The debate will be moderated by Professor Scherto Gill, Director of Global Humanity for Peace Institute at the University of Wales Trinity Saint David.
Simultaneous interpretation will be made available in English, French and Spanish.

The "Collective Healing, Social Justice and Global Well-Being" Webinar Series is jointly hosted by UNESCO and the University of Wales Trinity Saint-David, with the support of the Guerrand-Hermès Foundation for Peace. Across seven webinars, recognized experts and scholars in the field of collective healing and social justice will explore strategies and approaches for addressing the intergenerational trauma of enslavement and the slave trade.
