HLPF Side event "Culture as a Global Public Good: Towards a Culture Development Goal beyond 2030"

This side-event organized by the Permanent Mission of Greece to the United Nations and UNESCO will address ways in which culture operates as a global public good the overarching goal of integrating culture as a standalone goal post-2030.

The event will address the following thematic priorities: cultural rights, culture for climate action, heritage in crisis, including the restitution of cultural goods to the countries of origin, cultural economics, culture in the digital era, and the synergies between culture in education.

The event will take place in Conference Room 3, UN Headquarters.
