To conclude this year of celebrations, the Musée national Picasso-Paris, in partnership with UNESCO, is organizing a grand symposium on December 7 and 8, 2023 in Paris. The symposium will be held at UNESCO House, the historic building that houses the headquarters for the International Organization for the Defense of Peace in Education, Science, and Culture, and whose architects commissioned Picasso to create a large-scale mural inaugurated in 1958: La Chute d'Icare (The Fall of Icarus).

Over two days of encounters, round-table discussions, lectures, events, and exhibition visits, the symposium will bring together all the Celebration's partners - institutions, curators, researchers, and artists - to discuss the topics covered by the event.
