Join us for a discussion on promoting indigenous languages through Open Educational Resources (OER). The OER Dynamic Coalition aims to engage in a discussion on OER and indigenous languages to explore the challenges, opportunities, best practices and the economic models to make educational materials available in indigenous languages.

Key questions:

  1. How can OER facilitate indigenous language education and contribute to inclusive and equitable education? 
  2. What are the challenges and opportunities in using OER in the development of culturally and linguistically relevant educational materials in indigenous languages? 
  3. What can we learn from ongoing initiatives to develop culturally and linguistically relevant educational materials in indigenous languages?
