Join us for a discussion on promoting indigenous languages through Open Educational Resources (OER). The OER Dynamic Coalition aims to engage in a discussion on OER and indigenous languages to explore the challenges, opportunities, best practices and the economic models to make educational materials available in indigenous languages.
Key questions:
- How can OER facilitate indigenous language education and contribute to inclusive and equitable education?
- What are the challenges and opportunities in using OER in the development of culturally and linguistically relevant educational materials in indigenous languages?
- What can we learn from ongoing initiatives to develop culturally and linguistically relevant educational materials in indigenous languages?
