The Latin American Laboratory for the Assessment of the Quality of Education (LLECE) of the UNESCO Regional Office in Santiago, together with the MIDE UC Measurement Center of the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile, co-organize this webinar around the document "Characterization of Latin American Teachers from the ERCE 2019 Study." This text analyzes the results of the questionnaires to third and sixth-grade teachers from the 16 Latin American and Caribbean countries that participated in the Comparative and Explanatory Regional Study (ERCE 2019).

The aim of this online session is to make visible and discuss the opinions and/or experiences regarding the conditions of teachers that generate effectiveness and the achievement of their students' learning. The event will feature a presentation of this study, followed by a panel discussion about its results and the contribution of this document to positioning teaching as a strategic profession.
