Youth Multimedia Room

For over a decade, UNESCO has been convening a Youth Multimedia Room providing a platform for young media professionals to report on major international events and make their voices heard while learning valuable skills.

World Press Freedom Day 2024

Between May 2 and 4, Chile and UNESCO will host the 31st World Press Freedom Day Conference dedicated to the importance of journalism and freedom of expression in the context of the current global environmental crisis.

For the occasion, 27 young journalism students, climate activists and digital content creators will take part in the Youth Multimedia Room.
