Edulivre: Free Education Project

Digital Inclusion and Learning for the Labour Market
Youth employment - Brazil

The Free Education Project (Edulivre) consists of developing an interactive online platform for capacity-building for Brazil's young people. It aims at enhancing their competencies and integrating them in the workplace through technological solutions that enable the creation of educational itineraries adaptable to the user's profile and free learning using mutual collaboration mechanisms. The Project intends to ensure that young Brazilian people have the necessary skills to match them with job opportunities in the industry sector, aiming to reduce unemployment rates among youth and promote training and lifelong skills.

The Edulivre Project is a partnership between UNESCO and Serviço Social da Indústria (SESI). It offers free, fun, and applied learning opportunities in the real world, especially for young people looking forward to developing their skills for life and the world of work. EduLivre's online platform offers content allowing young people to browse videos or make knowledge trails connected to selective processes for job vacancies, courses, and internships.
