In light of the fourth International Day to Protect Education from Attack, a high-level panel will be held in the United Nations Headquarters in New York on 13 September. Global leaders, UN stakeholders, and victims of attacks on education will jointly call for the protection of education and “Justice for Victims”, which is the theme of this year, focusing on justice and legal accountability for victims of education-related violations/attacks on education. On 14 September, UN Peacebuilding Commission will organize a special event in commemoration of the International Day, focusing on education’s role on peacebuilding.
