School in Human Rights of Childhood and Adolescence at PANI

With the National Patronage of Infancy (PANI), the aim is to strengthen the capacities of the institution's staff and stakeholders in order to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in the protection and promotion of the rights of children and adolescents in the country.

What is the project about?

The project focuses on improving the skills and knowledge of officials and interested individuals both within and outside of PANI in Costa Rica. This will be achieved through the creation of a specialized training curriculum that is tailored to local needs and regulations.

The main objective is to increase efficiency and effectiveness in protecting and promoting the rights of children and adolescents in the country.

Activities

  • Actively participate in the PANI-SNU Coordinating Committee throughout the design and implementation process of the pilot program for the School of Human Rights for Children and Adolescents.

  • Provide support in reviewing technical project documents and offer recommendations in areas such as feasibility studies, PRODOC, Curriculum Framework, Study Plans, School Background, among others.

  • Deliver presentations on specific topics requested by PANI, such as the development of research questions for the selection of qualified personnel, the development of curriculum frameworks, and qualitative research related to selection tests.

  • Develop and implement a specialized training curriculum on the rights of childhood and adolescence, along with operational training programs.
